Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team, responsible for enhancing and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of various interiors and exteriors. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting and decorating, with a keen eye for detail. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, delivering high-quality finishes that meet client expectations. A valid driving licence and own transport is essential to facilitate travel between sites.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care
Use a variety of tools and equipment safely and efficiently, including brushes, rollers and scaffolding
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years experience in painting and decorating
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Valid driving licence and own transport is advantageous for site travel purposes
Excellent eye for detail to achieve high-quality finishes
Reliable team player with good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £140.00-£180.00 per day
