Full job description

Due to increasing patient list size 2x Receptionist/Administrator role vacancies have arisen, One 37.5 hour/week post and a further part time post (hours to be confirmed), Monday-Friday with rotating morning/afternoon shifts (i.e. one week morning shift, one week afternoon shift) - Hours/Rota to be confirmed though earliest start time will be 08:00 hrs and latest end time will be 18:30 hrs.

The Practice clinical system is SystmOne and previous experience of this system is essential. It is also preferable that any person applying for the role will be well versed in the aspects of confidentiality, ability to work as part of a team, be computer literate, have experience of working with members of the public, have an ability to prioritise work, and show excellent time keeping.

Duties of the post will include -

Booking in of patients for appointments for Clinicians

Arranging follow up appointments for patients

Dealing with hospital referrals

Prescriptions

Taking telephone calls/messages and relaying them as appropriate

Photocopying

Monitoring workflow and relaying messages as appropriate

Scanning

Data inputting

Email and other IT Tools used by the Practice

Other administrative tasks as requested by the Practice Manager

We are ideally looking for candidates who can start with immediate effect.
