Olive Tree Turkish Restaurant – High Wycombe

About Us

Olive Tree Turkish Restaurant is a busy, family-run restaurant in High Wycombe, serving authentic Turkish cuisine in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking Server to join our team and help deliver an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for customer service and take pride in creating memorable dining experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service from the moment guests arrive until they leave. You’ll work closely with both the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure every guest enjoys a first-class dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and seat guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
Present menus, answer questions and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant’s POS system.
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high presentation standards.
Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure complete satisfaction.
Handle customer requests and resolve any concerns professionally.
Process payments accurately.
Assist with setting up and closing down the restaurant.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
Work closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in hospitality is preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A friendly, positive and professional attitude.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods.
Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to support colleagues.
Well presented with excellent attention to detail.
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
Ability to reliably commute to High Wycombe.
Right to work in the UK.
Availability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required by the needs of the business.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
