Full job description

DNS Stones is a leading supplier of natural stone and paving products. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our Southampton branch. This role is focused on warehouse operations, helping to keep our yard and stock organised, safe, and efficient.

Mandatory Requirement: Forklift Licence

Responsibilities:

Load and unload deliveries of stone and paving products from trucks.
Unload shipping containers using a loading ramp.
Move, stack, and organise stock in the warehouse and yard.
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
Split packs of paving and stone products accurately to fulfil customer orders.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times.

Requirements:

Valid forklift licence (essential).
Previous warehouse or yard experience preferred.
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
Good teamwork skills and a positive, can do attitude.
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
