Overview

We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of food and beverages. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, food safety, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Whether you are experienced or eager to learn, this position provides a dynamic environment where your skills can flourish.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees and teas, ensuring high quality standards.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks as required.
Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders both in person and via digital platforms.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter, seating areas, and workstations in compliance with food safety standards.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system, including giving correct change.
Restock supplies and ingredients regularly to ensure smooth daily operations.
Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring a safe environment for staff and customers.
Support team members during busy periods by assisting with general duties around the premises.

Requirements

Previous experience as a barista or in food service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
Ability to perform basic maths accurately for cash handling and order processing.
Strong organisational skills with effective time management to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and contribute positively to the team.

Pay: £12.75-£14.00 per hour
