Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to uphold the safety and security of our premises. In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring the facility, preventing loss, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Your energetic presence and keen attention to detail will help create a safe space where everyone can thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a secure community while developing your skills in surveillance, emergency response, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the premises and identify potential security threats.
Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry.
Perform routine patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and sensitive zones to deter theft and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity by investigating incidents and coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing behaviors that may indicate theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action.
Provide first aid assistance in case of medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance documentation accurately and promptly.

Experience

Prior experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment is highly desirable.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and emergency response procedures enhances effectiveness in this role.
Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus but not required; training will be available for those interested.
Strong observational skills with an eye for detail are essential for identifying potential risks or breaches.
Ability to remain calm under pressure while responding swiftly to incidents is critical for success in this position.

Pay: £3,000.00-£4,000.00 per month
