Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Sales and Events Executive to join our team 3 days a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, organising and managing events, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the organisation’s success through innovative sales strategies and memorable event execution. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a flair for organisation.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet organisational targets
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, outreach, and market research
Plan, coordinate, and oversee a variety of events, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports to support sales initiatives and event planning
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote upcoming events and sales campaigns
Monitor industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth
Manage budgets for events, ensuring cost-effective utilisation of resources
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally

Requirements

Proven experience in sales, event management, or a related role is preferred
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with CRM systems is advantageous
Creative problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding results
Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required for events or client meetings
A recognised qualification in marketing, business administration or related fields is desirable
