The Café at The Lambing Shed Farm Shop is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Part-Time Front of House Team Member to join our award-winning team.

We’re a fun, family-run business that’s passionate about amazing food, great coffee, and creating memorable experiences for every customer. If you’ve got a big smile, a positive attitude, love working with people, and enjoy the buzz of a busy café, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering warm, friendly and memorable customer service every day
Taking orders and confidently guiding customers through our menu
Serving delicious breakfast, lunch and café favourites
Preparing coffees and drinks — barista experience is a bonus, but full training can be provided
Setting up for service and closing down efficiently
Keeping the café running smoothly during busy periods
Working closely with the wider team to deliver a fantastic customer experience
Helping wherever needed to keep the café clean, organised and running at its best

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a busy hospitality environment is essential
Availability to work weekends is essential — this role requires regular weekend availability
A natural people-person with a positive, can-do attitude
Someone who enjoys working under pressure and staying organised
A reliable team player who is always willing to go the extra mile
Confidence, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for food and great service
Someone who enjoys being part of a busy, friendly and energetic team

The Details

Part-time position – minimum 3 days per week

Weekend availability is essential. You must be available to work weekends as part of your regular working pattern. The role will also include weekday shifts, so flexibility across the week is required.

Shifts between 8:30am – 5:30pm
Minimum 3 days per week
Regular weekend working required
Weekday flexibility required
