Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest services, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. The Duty Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a welcoming environment and supporting the overall success of the venue.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operational activities, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
Supervise and support team members,
Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and tact
Coordinate with other departments such as food & beverage, and security to ensure seamless operations
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards
Assist in training new staff members and providing ongoing coaching to existing team members
Manage booking systems, reservations, and event logistics as required
Monitor financial transactions, including billing and cash handling procedures
Support human resources functions such as scheduling, performance reviews, and staff development initiatives

Experience

Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry at least 2 years.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
Previous experience is highly advantageous
Demonstrated ability to handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently
Prior experience in a leadership role within a fast-paced environment is essential
