Company Description

Searcys are looking for a Barista / Cafe Assistant to join the team at Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, you will be responsible for providing service excellences to our customers, guests and clients within the in-house staff cafe "The Hub". Area for RICS staff to relax and unwind.

Job Description

Cafe Barista
£14 p/h – 0 hours contract
Monday - Friday only
7am - 4pm

Key Responsibilities:

To help set up the cafe area and coffee bar, ready for each service
To provide counter service for breakfast & lunch offering
To help with any clearing and general cleaning duties
To check and put away any food and beverage after service
To ensure wastage forms are completed
To restock the fridge for the next day
To ensure all labels and prices are correct
To work on tills and following the Searcys cash handling procedures

Qualifications

Friendly, outgoing personality; a people person.
Good listening & verbal communication skills
Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus
Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
