Up to £29,000 inclusive of TRONC

We are currently looking for a customer focused Receptionist to join our friendly front office team at our award-winning hotel,Lime Wood.

Lime Wood is a 33-bedroom boutique country house set in the heart of the New Forest National Park. It is laid-back 5* luxury at its best,with Chefs Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder at the helm of the kitchen and a wellness spa within the grounds. The front desk is essentially the hub of the hotel,being the first and last face our restaurant and hotel guests see. First impressions are everything and we want our guests to have the best first impression possible.

About the role:

Responsibilities include,but not limited to:

Working collaboratively as part of a team,to ensure a warm welcome and effective service to all hotel and restaurant guests.
Using hotel reservation systems to efficiently book guests stays and table reservations. Amending reservations as/when required.
Respond to guest queries,in person,via phone and email.
Proactive and adaptable approach to any situations that may occur. Always ensuring guest satisfaction.
Communication is key,maintaining effective channels of communication with all departments.
Handle guest complaints to the best of your ability,utilising our management team as/when required.
Work collaboratively will all departments,providing regular updates and relevant information specific to their department. This can include guest requests and changes to reservations.

About you:

Previous experience as a Receptionist is beneficial. Desirably in a hotel or similar environment.

A proactive and reliable attitude towards work is essential. You must be able to deal with situations as and when they arise,ensuring guests are provided with both a warm welcome and positive experience.
