Mon - Fri 7am - 4pm (flexible)

JOB PURPOSE

The role of the HGV Driver is to:

Support the business by carrying out driving duties and assist the workshops with general cleaning duties.

Department/Business/Location: Swindon Truck Centre

Reports to: Branch Team Lead

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

At the request of the service team, carry out driving jobs as and when required.
Carry out a pre-delivery quality check and ensure the vehicle meets customer expectations.
Handover vehicles at the point of delivery.
Ensure all documentation is accurately completed in line with business standard.
Maintain safe working practices and standards, including driving all vehicles with due care and attention for all customers, road users and pedestrians.

Skills & Requirements

Essential

Full UK driving licence.
Smart appearance.
Competency in numeracy and literacy.

Desirable

Advanced motoring qualification.

Experience

Desirable

Previous HGV class 1 experience.
ADR license desirable.
