Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests and clients. Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial services is highly desirable. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating pristine spaces. All positions are paid, reflecting the importance of each team member’s contribution.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and private spaces according to established standards
Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces to maintain cleanliness and presentation
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition and organise storage areas efficiently
Adhere to organisational policies regarding hygiene standards and confidentiality
Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linen

Experience

Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is preferred but not essential
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
