Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef or Chef de Partie to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, assisting in kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety standards are consistently met. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods, ensuring timely meal preparation and presentation
Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages or expired items
Help with meal plating and presentation to ensure dishes meet quality standards before serving
Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver excellent customer service through efficient food delivery

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Knowledge of kitchen safety, hygiene standards, and food handling procedures
Strong understanding of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Previous experience serving guests or customers is a plus but not essential
A genuine passion for cooking and eagerness to learn new skills
