Overview

We are seeking experienced and dedicated CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) time-served painters and decorators to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will bring your proven skills and craftsmanship to a variety of construction projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the successful delivery of projects, transforming spaces with precision and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled tradespeople to showcase their talent in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes with attention to detail and quality standards
Follow project specifications and technical drawings to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by managing waste and adhering to health and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with team members, site managers, and clients to coordinate work schedules and progress updates
Inspect completed work for quality assurance, making touch-ups or corrections as needed
Operate relevant tools and equipment safely and efficiently throughout each project phase

Experience

Proven experience as a painter and decorator within the construction industry, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Time-served apprenticeship or recognized certification demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of painting and decorating techniques
Valid driving license is highly desirable for travel between sites
Strong communication skills in English to understand project requirements and collaborate effectively with team members
Knowledge of construction painting standards, safety protocols, and environmental considerations
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse project environments
