Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This will be on a casual basis for mainly evening and weekend work .

In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, friendly communication, and efficient support. Your energy and passion for hospitality will help create memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive until their departure. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic restaurant environment while contributing to a lively and positive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff
Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met and guest satisfaction is prioritized
Check in with guests during their meal to ensure their needs are met and address any concerns proactively
Upsell menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations
Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of food and beverages, to ensure health standards are upheld

Skills

Strong background in hospitality with previous restaurant or serving experience preferred
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing bills
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service periods
Clear communication skills for coordinating with team members and engaging with guests confidently
Passion for delivering memorable dining experiences through attentive service and positive interactions

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
