Full job description

Paragon Logistics Group is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Logistics Coordinator to join our fast-paced, 24-hour logistics operation. In this key role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating delivery routes, managing communication between customers and drivers, and ensuring seamless service delivery. This position requires a proactive individual who can remain calm under pressure and is always ready to support the team.

While previous experience in logistics is an advantage, it is not essential. We’re looking for someone with the right mindset: logical, organised, hardworking, and committed to delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and co-ordinate logistics operations liaising with customers, internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers and transportation companies.
Coordinate schedules and assign drivers to routes.
Respond to customer and driver queries promptly.
Track vehicle issues and schedule necessary repairs.
Ensure compliance with transport regulations and internal standards.
Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities.
Monitor KPIs and suggest operational improvements.
Manage client accounts and build strong customer relationships.

Working Hours & Availability:

Core hours: 09:30AM to 20:00PM
Weekend availability required; a rotating on-call schedule will be implemented.
Outside core hours, mobile availability is expected to support urgent issues.

Key Requirements:

Good knowledge of transport operations and logistics.
Basic understanding of LGV (Large Goods Vehicles).
Strong multitasking, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and calm, professional phone manner.
Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
Confident using digital tools and software platforms.
