Full job description

Chef de Partie — Casa Dario

Casa Dario is a small kitchen located in a food hall. Our concept is based on Spanish cuisine, with a selection of Argentine-inspired dishes. We serve tapas, paellas and other dishes made with fresh ingredients.

We are passionate about honest food, authentic flavours and cooking from scratch. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable, disciplined and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team.

The Role

This position will initially be part-time, with the opportunity to progress into a full-time role as the business grows.

Working in a small food-hall kitchen, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the business. You will be expected to work efficiently, stay organised during busy service periods and maintain consistently high standards of food quality, cleanliness and presentation.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking, wants to learn more about Spanish cuisine and is looking to develop their career in a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and cooking dishes from scratch
Preparing tapas, paellas and other Spanish-inspired dishes
Cooking confidently on burners and working with high heat and flames
Preparing ingredients efficiently and correctly
Following recipes and maintaining consistent quality
Working quickly and accurately during busy service periods
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and safe
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and food safety
Supporting the smooth running of a small kitchen team
Communicating clearly and working respectfully with colleagues
Taking pride in the quality and presentation of every dish

What We Are Looking For

At least two years of experience working in a professional kitchen
Experience working on burners and confidence cooking with heat and flames
Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or food-service environment
A reliable, disciplined and hardworking attitude
Someone respectful, professional and easy to work with
The ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
A genuine passion for cooking and pride in your work
Curiosity, motivation and a willingness to learn
An interest in, or understanding of, Spanish cuisine
Ambition to improve and progress as a chef
The ability to stay organised and calm during busy services
