About the Role

Bear Business Finance Ltd is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Executive to support our Lender Liaison & Underwriting Manager in delivering a smooth and efficient funding process.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career within commercial finance, underwriting, and lender relations. You will act as a key support function between our Finance Broker Team, lenders, and internal departments, ensuring customer information is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.

Working closely with the Lender Liaison & Underwriting Manager, you will assist with deal preparation, information gathering, lender communications, CRM management, compliance checks, and the coordination of funding applications from submission through to payout.

Key Responsibilities

Deal Preparation & Administration

Assist in reviewing customer applications to ensure information is complete and accurate.
Request and collate supporting documentation, including bank statements, accounts, identification, and company information.
Prepare files for review by the Lender Liaison & Underwriting Manager.
Ensure all required documentation is received before applications are submitted to lenders.

CRM & Data Management

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within HubSpot.
Upload and organise customer documents and correspondence.
Ensure all deal information is recorded correctly and efficiently.
Support reporting and pipeline management activities.

Lender & Broker Communication

Act as a day-to-day point of contact for lenders, brokers, and customers when required.
Chase outstanding information and documentation.
Assist with lender referrals and additional information requests.
Keep all parties updated on application progress.

Team Support

Provide administrative support to the Lender Liaison & Underwriting Manager.
Assist with lender relationship management and reporting.
Support process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
Contribute positively to a high-performance and collaborative team culture.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Confident verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong IT skills, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

What Success Looks Like

Accurate and complete applications submitted to lenders.
Reduced delays caused by missing information.
Well-maintained CRM records and documentation.
Strong support provided to the Lender Liaison & Underwriting Manager.
Improved efficiency across the deal journey.
