Full job description

Overall Purpose of Job

To provide efficient financial and administrative support as part of the Operations Team, ensuring accurate financial records, accounting processes and excellent administrative support across all areas of the football club.

Main Responsibilities/Description of Duties:

To assist with the general day-to-day administration duties.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
Process purchase and sales ledger invoices.
Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash movements.
Manage supplier payments and customer invoices.
Support month-end and year-end accounting procedures.
Assist with payroll administration.
Maintain fixed assets and finance records where required.
Support audits and compliance requirements across the club
Undertake any other financial and operational duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications required

Previous accounts experience.
Experience using accounting software.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A confident decision-maker.
Personable and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.
Good team player who can work on own initiative.

Pay: £25,420.00-£41,167.13 per year
