Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weekend Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises during weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to a well-organised team while working flexible weekend hours.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices.
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation
Empty bins, clean surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures as required
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties to management
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times whilst representing the company

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning machinery is advantageous
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to company standards
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in busy environments
