Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in a residential home assuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while fostering a positive environment for those in our care.

Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Support individuals in following their care plans and ensure their needs are met.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on care and any changes in condition.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff members.
Help with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home setting is essential also level 2 Diploma/nvq.
Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping is advantageous.
Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with residents and colleagues.
A caring attitude and the ability to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
