Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Counter Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and support within our establishment. The Counter Assistant will be responsible for assisting customers with their needs, ensuring a smooth operation at the counter, and maintaining a welcoming environment. MCA qualification is needed.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the counter.
Provide information on medication administration and patient care as needed.
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure that all prescriptions are filled correctly.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area to promote a professional atmosphere.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.

Skills

Retail Experience is needed
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Experience in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards customer needs.
Knowledge of medication administration is advantageous for assisting customers appropriately.
Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is a plus, enhancing the ability to support pharmacy operations effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
