Role Purpose
We are looking for a creative, organised and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to support Cinergi's marketing activities and help us continue to grow our brand.
Working across a broad range of marketing channels, you'll help create engaging content that showcases our projects, people, products and expertise. This will include social media, email marketing, website content, blogs, events, photography, video and printed marketing materials.
Renewable energy can be a technical subject, so an important part of the role will be taking information from our engineers, technical teams and wider business and turning it into clear, engaging and accessible content for our customers.
This is a varied, hands-on role offering plenty of opportunity to bring forward your own ideas, develop your marketing skills and take increasing ownership of campaigns and projects as your experience grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Write engaging content for blogs, email campaigns, social media, case studies and marketing literature
- Plan, create and schedule content across Cinergi's social media channels
- Help develop and manage the company's social media content calendar
- Visit completed installations and projects to capture photographs, videos and customer stories
- Create case studies showcasing Cinergi's projects and technologies
- Produce graphics and other visual content using Canva or similar design software
- Assist with the production and updating of brochures, flyers, presentations and other marketing literature
- Update and maintain website content through WordPress
- Support email marketing campaigns, including creating, scheduling and reporting on campaigns
- Assist with planning and coordinating customer events, exhibitions, open days and other company events
- Work with colleagues across the business to identify interesting projects, news and content opportunities
- Help communicate technical renewable energy subjects in a clear and engaging way
- Support recruitment and employer-branding content showcasing Cinergi's people and culture
- Assist with marketing campaigns for new products, services and business initiatives
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing activity, including website, email and social media engagement
- Help maintain consistency of the Cinergi brand across all marketing channels
- Undertake general marketing administration and organisation
- Keep up to date with developments and trends across renewable energy, sustainability and digital marketing
Essential Skills & Experience
- Excellent written English and strong copywriting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to understand and absorb technical information and communicate it clearly
- Confident communicator who is comfortable working with people across different areas of the business
- Creative thinker with the confidence to suggest new ideas
- Good eye for design and visual presentation
- Proficient in Canva or similar design software
- Basic photography and videography skills
- Comfortable creating content for social media
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong general IT and digital skills
Advantageous Skills & Experience
The following would be beneficial, but aren't essential:
- Previous experience within a marketing or content role
- Marketing, Communications, Business or similar qualification
- Understanding of SEO and writing website content with search performance in mind
- Video editing experience using any recognised editing software
- WordPress experience
- HubSpot experience, particularly email marketing, reporting and automation
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console
- Understanding of paid advertising across Google, Meta and/or Microsoft/Bing
- Experience organising events or exhibitions
- Experience producing marketing reports and analysing campaign performance
- An interest in renewable energy, sustainability or low-carbon technology

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
