Full job description

Join an exciting fish and chip business!

Lewys is an exciting, family run business located in Hayle, Cornwall. We are a Fish and Chip takeaway with the added bonus of click and collect.

We are looking for a server to join our team, previous experience in customer service & serving fish and chips desirable however not essential as full training will be given.

Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking food orders accurately
- Serving takeaway food
- Providing excellent customer service
- Upselling menu items
- Ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks when required
- Managing time effectively during busy service periods
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver orders promptly
- Handling payments and processing transactions accurately

Requirements:
- Prior experience in hospitality desirable but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with kitchen operations is beneficial for order coordination

Shifts will include evening and weekend work.

Hourly pay will be depend on age and experience. Must be aged 16 or over to apply.
