Overview

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Hospitality and Cleaning Operative to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, welcoming, and safe environment across various facilities. Your energy and attention to detail will ensure that all spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, creating a positive experience for staff, visitors, and clients alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while developing valuable skills in cleaning and hospitality services.

Duties

Perform comprehensive commercial cleaning across designated areas, including offices, reception areas, restrooms, and communal spaces
Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces regularly
Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper towels, and cleaning materials to ensure continuous availability
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to promote a hygienic environment for all occupants
Assist with setting up meeting rooms or event spaces as needed, ensuring they are tidy and well-prepared
Conduct routine inspections to identify areas requiring attention or additional cleaning measures
Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and supplies used

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to strict standards of cleanliness
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and management
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift
