Job Overview

Join our dynamic construction team as a Groundworks Labourer and play a vital role in laying the foundation for exciting projects! Duties

Assist with site preparation by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring a safe working environment
Dig trenches, holes, and foundations using hand tools and machinery under supervision
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment needed for groundworks activities
Support the installation of drainage systems, concrete bases, and other foundational elements
Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure worksite for yourself and colleagues
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
Maintain cleanliness of the site by disposing of waste and organizing tools and materials

Skills

Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour throughout the workday
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites
Willingness to learn new skills related to groundworks operations
Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and team members
Experience with hand tools or machinery is a plus but not required
A proactive attitude with a focus on quality workmanship
