Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an opportunity to lead culinary operations, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained across all service areas.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient utilisation of resources
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a cohesive team environment
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Develop new recipes and improve existing menu items to enhance customer satisfaction
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste and optimise costs
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Ensure all food presentation meets organisational standards for visual appeal and quality

Experience

Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Previous experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Experience in serving customers directly or managing front-of-house activities is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
