Hours of work: Monday - Friday | 13:00 - 17:00 | 20 hours

Contract Type: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a professional, friendly and customer-focused Part-Time Receptionist to join a diverse Front of House team.

Job Description

This is a straightforward corporate reception role, ideal for someone with previous reception, front of house, hospitality, hotel, concierge or customer service experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional workplace environment.

You will be part of a wider reception team, with the role having a strong focus on reception and switchboard duties, alongside general administration and workplace support.

Key Responsibilities

Acting as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for visitors, clients and colleagues
Operating the switchboard and handling incoming calls professionally
Providing face-to-face customer service and assisting visitors with their enquiries
Issuing visitor and access passes in line with site procedures
Carrying out mail runs and supporting general post room activities
Supporting site inductions for visitors and contractors
Assisting with basic porterage and general workplace support
Monitoring incoming jobs and requests through the CAFM system
Managing the Royal Mail business account and associated administration
Completing general administrative duties and maintaining accurate records
Working closely with the wider Front of House and facilities teams

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Previous experience in reception, front of house, hospitality, hotel, concierge or a customer-facing role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable speaking to people face-to-face and handling telephone enquiries
Professional, friendly and approachable manner
Confident using Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Comfortable learning and using workplace systems, including CAFM
Proactive attitude with a genuine focus on delivering excellent customer service
