Part-Time Warehouse & Dispatch Operative

Location: Sheffield
Hours: 24 hours per week (with opportunity for additional hours)
Salary: £13.50–£15.00 per hour, depending on experience

About Us

Hooton Group Ltd is a growing manufacturer and supplier of bespoke frameless shower doors and glass shower enclosures. We pride ourselves on supplying high-quality products together with exceptional customer service.

We're looking for a reliable and conscientious Warehouse & Dispatch Operative to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing a job properly and wants to become an important part of a growing business.

The Role

This is not a high-speed warehouse environment. Accuracy, care and attention to detail are far more important than rushing.

Your responsibilities will include:

Receiving and checking deliveries.
Operating a forklift safely to unload, move and store stock.
Picking and preparing customer orders.
Carefully packing bespoke glass products for dispatch.
Carrying out quality checks before goods leave the warehouse.
Organising and maintaining a clean, tidy warehouse.
Assisting with stock control and inventory checks.
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely.
Assisting with occasional local collections or deliveries if required.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a valid UK forklift truck licence.
Hold a full UK driving licence.
Be reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
Take pride in producing high-quality work.
Have excellent attention to detail.
Be physically fit and comfortable handling heavy items safely.
Be organised and able to work independently.
Have previous warehouse and dispatch experience.
Have a positive attitude and be willing to support the wider team when required.
