Overview

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality experiences and leading dynamic teams? We are seeking a motivated and energetic Front of House Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant restaurant or hospitality venue. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine leadership, culinary knowledge, and customer service expertise to create memorable experiences for guests. As a key member of our management team, you will inspire staff, ensure food safety standards are met, and uphold the highest levels of service excellence.

Duties

Supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and baristas, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent guest service
Assist in coordinating food preparation and serving processes to maintain efficiency and quality standards
Lead team management efforts by training, mentoring, and motivating staff to achieve performance goals
Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across all service areas
Manage reservations, guest inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction
Support kitchen staff with food production tasks when necessary, including basic culinary preparation and plating
Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by fostering teamwork, positive communication, and a professional environment

Requirements

Proven supervising or team management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and enthusiasm
Familiarity with culinary processes, food production, and kitchen operations
Previous hotel or restaurant experience is highly desirable; barista experience is a plus
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams effectively
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Knowledge of health regulations related to food safety and hospitality standards
