Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team in Shrewsbury.

For Commercial environments a *few hours per week, in the evening.*

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or domestic cleaning and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
Dust, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
Follow established cleaning protocols.
Assist with special cleaning projects as required, including deep cleaning tasks.
Maintain a tidy work environment by organising cleaning equipment and supplies after use.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning is essential.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A proactive approach to work with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
