Summary

We are seeking an experienced Room Leader to join our team at QCE Nurseries. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursery room. You will help bring our Ambitions curriculum to life by creating a safe, happy, stimulating and inclusive environment where children aged 0–5 can learn, explore and flourish. You will support children to become kind, caring, confident and ambitious individuals through engaging learning experiences, positive relationships and everyday practice that reflects our kindness code and children’s affirmations.. Your leadership will be crucial in delivering high-quality early years education and fostering positive relationships with children and families.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the nursery room team to deliver high-quality early years education.
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years.
Plan and deliver engaging learning activities that support each child’s development.
Observe, assess and record children’s progress accurately and effectively.
Create a safe, nurturing, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Communicate positively and professionally with parents, carers and colleagues.
Support safeguarding responsibilities in line with the role, job description and nursery policies

Requirements

A L3 Childcare qualification.
Proven experience as a room leader.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
· A warm, caring and enthusiastic approach to Early Years education.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with children, families and colleagues.
A genuine commitment to children’s welfare, learning and development.
