Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team, providing exceptional service . The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving customers, cooking, cleaning and ensuring the shop runs a smooth operation . This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and food service to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for applicants eager to contributeto the local community.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with established standards.
Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas throughout shifts.
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to at all times.
Handle delivery of catering orders, including loading, unloading, and transporting items safely.
Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer needs promptly and courteously.
Assist with packing, unpacking, and storing supplies efficiently.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all activities.
Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is advantageous.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
Ability to serve guests courteously while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
Basic cooking skills or culinary experience are desirable.
Familiarity with meal preparation, serving techniques, and kitchen operations.
Excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or handling enquiries.
Organised with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards at all times.This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while delivering outstanding service to clients. Pay: £13.00 per hour
