Skilled Vehicle Technician

We are currently looking for a Skilled Vehicle Technician at our Stamford Car Dealership. The successful applicant should have technical qualifications of level 3 or above and will be fully experienced with all modern materials and procedures, together with the ability to produce a consistently high calibre of work and be totally committed to our excellent standards of customer care.

Duties include:

Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles.

Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.

Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service.

Plan repair procedures using manuals and experience.

Test the functionality of parts and systems

Perform care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.

Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on all vehicles in a fast-paced environment.

A nominated MOT Tester would be advantageous but not essential for the role.

Licence/Certification:

City & Guilds Automotive or NVQ equivalent (required)

Driving license (required)

MOT Tester (preferred)
