Full job description

PTA Developments Ltd are a privately owned developer and contractor with a reputation for building high-quality and prestige apartments and houses in Sheffield. Many are retained within our extensive private lettings portfolio all of which are managed entirely within the group under Ascent Lettings. Our office is based in the historic Abbeydale Hall, close to Dore & Totley Train station in the highly desirable Dore area.

PTA Developments Ltd are looking for an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Reception & Administrative Assistant to join our Ascent Lettings team.

This is a varied role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and efficiently
Greeting visitors
Assist with the coordination of property viewings
Assist with managing the shared inbox and ensure all tenant and prospect enquiries receive a timely response liaising with management where necessary
Managing incoming and outgoing post

Essential attributes/skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A confident and professional telephone manner.
Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Previous reception, administration, or estate agency experience is desirable but not essential.
Resilient in the face of difficult or pressured circumstances

Experience/knowledge required:

Experience working in a lettings environment preferred but not essential
Competent at using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Experience of property management/lettings software package, Alto preferred but not essential, full training and support will be provided
Desirable: knowledge of and enthusiasm for the south west Sheffield area as a place to live/work/socialise

Pay: Up to £25,000.00 per year
