Full job description

At Hill, we know that great support makes a real difference. As our Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, contractors and colleagues, providing a welcoming and professional front-of-house service. The role will also provide general administrative and team support, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area and wider office (TEMP TO PERM POSITION)

Key Responsibilities

Reception & Front of House

Greet all visitors, clients, contractors and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
Notify relevant members of staff when visitors arrive.
Sign visitors in and out of the building and ensure appropriate procedures are followed.
Provide refreshments and make drinks for visitors and meetings.
Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming reception area.
Answer and transfer calls through the company switchboard, dealing with enquiries where appropriate.
Receive and sign for deliveries, ensuring items are passed to the correct person or department.
Liaise with engineers when maintenance is required for photocopiers/printers.

Administrative Support

Monitor the Courier and Meeting inboxes, responding to and actioning requests as required.
Book meeting rooms and arrange meeting requirements where requested.
Carry out regular drinks rounds for meetings
Open and distribute incoming post.
Assist other members of the administrative team with day-to-day tasks.
