Are you an early riser with a passion for creating exceptional breakfasts? We’re looking for a talented Breakfast Chef to join our award-winning kitchen at Dormy House Hotel & Spa—one of the Cotswolds' most celebrated boutique luxury hotels.

Set within the beautiful 500-acre Farncombe Estate, Dormy House is renowned for its exceptional food offering. From The Back Garden (3 AA Rosettes) to our Michelin Guide-featured chef's table, MO (4 AA Rosettes), you'll become part of a kitchen that prides itself on quality, consistency and outstanding hospitality from the very first meal of the day.

Working under the guidance of Michelin-starred Culinary Director Martin Burge, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional breakfasts using the finest seasonal ingredients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef who enjoys working independently, takes pride in presentation, and wants to be part of a supportive, high-performing brigade.

Your role

As our Breakfast Chef, you'll:

Prepare and serve high-quality breakfasts to our guests
Ensure breakfast service runs smoothly, efficiently and to the highest standards
Prepare ingredients for breakfast and support with mise en place for the wider kitchen where required
Maintain exceptional food hygiene, cleanliness and organisation
Work closely with the wider kitchen brigade to deliver a seamless guest experience
Help uphold the high culinary standards Dormy House is known for

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie or similar
A passion for quality ingredients and beautifully prepared food
The ability to work efficiently and calmly during busy breakfast services
A positive, reliable and professional attitude
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A genuine desire to learn and continue developing your culinary career

The details

£37,440 per year (plus share of gratuities of approximately £3,000–£3,500 per year – total package approximately £40,940)
48 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (including weekends)
Meals on duty & uniform provided
Live-in accommodation available
