Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Bar Staff member at the William Jamerson and become the heartbeat of our lively venue! In this energetic role, you’ll create memorable experiences for guests by providing exceptional service, mixing drinks with flair, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every visitor feels valued and eager to return. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a dynamic environment where teamwork and positivity are celebrated.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options
Ensure all drinks are made accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving and prevent over-intoxication
Manage cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods

Skills

Strong background in hospitality or restaurant experience with a passion for customer service is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in beverage handling
Excellent serving skills combined with friendly communication and positive attitude
Effective time management to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
