Office Administrator / Personal Assistant

Location: London
Pay: £13.25–£13.95 plus 12.07% holiday allowance per hour, depending on experience

Due to increased demand for our services, we are looking for an Entry-Level Office Administrator / Assistant to join our team and assist with the day-to-day running of our office.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may not have extensive office experience but has the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on role where you will support the Director and wider team with administrative, recruitment and office-based tasks.

Your responsibilities may include:

Assisting with day-to-day office administration
Supporting recruitment activities and candidate communication
Responding to emails and telephone enquiries
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Assisting with staff scheduling and shift administration
Communicating with employees, candidates and clients
Preparing documents and updating company records
Following company procedures and written guidance
Assisting the Director with ad-hoc tasks and projects
Learning and taking on additional responsibilities as your experience develops

You will be provided with guidance and support, but we are looking for someone who can gradually develop the confidence to work independently, use their initiative and take ownership of tasks.

Who We’re Looking For

Previous office or recruitment experience is desirable but not essential.

We are primarily looking for someone who is:

Highly organised and reliable
An excellent timekeeper
Professional and well presented
Confident communicating with people
Comfortable using computers, email and Microsoft Office
Able to learn quickly and follow instructions
Positive, hardworking and willing to take responsibility
Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
Ambitious and interested in developing a long-term career

Previous experience in administration, recruitment, customer service, hospitality, security or a similar customer-facing environment would be advantageous.

Pay & Working Hours

£13.25–£13.95 per hour, depending on experience

This is a Zero Hours Contract with flexible shifts, making the role suitable for candidates looking for flexible employment while gaining valuable office-based experience.

Shifts and hours will be agreed according to business requirements and your availability.
