Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

Location: Upminster Bridge

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Contract Type: Full Time

Hours: Up to 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Upminster Little Learners is an Outstanding nursery. Our practitioners are dedicated and provide exceptional care to our children. We pride ourselves on our nurturing environment and our commitment to supporting the development of every child in our care. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in the development and well-being of our children. You will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and caring environment where children can thrive. Your role will involve:

Working with a team of nursery practitioners and assistants.
Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that support early learning and development.
Monitoring and recording the progress of each child, and providing regular updates to parents and carers.
Ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and care are maintained at all times.
Working closely with parents to build strong relationships and provide guidance on their child's development.
Ensuring compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and other relevant regulations.
Supporting the children to become independent and ready for school

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in a nursery
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
Skills: Strong understanding of early childhood development, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with babies and toddlers.
