We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Kitchen Design Assistant to join our friendly studio in Arundel. This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who has a genuine passion for interiors, design and beautiful living spaces.

No formal qualifications are required - we are far more interested in your creativity, willingness to learn, and eye for great design.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Design Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting the design process by creating visual layouts, assisting clients, and ensuring seamless communication between the design team and customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for interior design, particularly within kitchen spaces.

About the Role

As our Kitchen Design Assistant, youll support our designers with a variety of creative and administrative tasks. Every day will be different, giving you the opportunity to develop your design skills while gaining valuable experience in a growing business.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the preparation of kitchen design packages: technical drawings, hand drawn sketches and moodboards.

- Produce and refine drawings using Sketch up and Mosaik, alongside hand-drawn sketches and concept illustrations.

- Bring creative idead to life through drawings, making strong sketching and drawing skills an essential part of this role.

- Support the design team with product research, material selections, and presentation boards that reflect our studio's distinctive design aesthetic.

- Provide administrative support, ensuring projects are organised and managed efficiently through the design, creation and install process.

- Build positive relationships with clients, communicating with confidence, professionalism, and warmth to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

About You

We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for interior design and beautifully crafted spaces.

Appreciates and understands luxury timeless design and premium materials.

Someone who enjoys sketching and drawing and has the ability to communicate ideas visually.

Has experience with or is keen to develop skills in Sketch up and Mosaik.

Is meticulous, organised, and takes price in producing work of the highest standard.

Is personable, confident, and enjoys working closely with clients and colleagues.

Is proactive, eager to learn and committed to delivery high level of service.

Skills

Proficiency in SketchUp and CAD software for creating accurate kitchen designs is a real advantage but can be taught.

Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and cost estimations.

Please note. This job is an in-house position based in Arundel. Monday to Friday 9-5.
