Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Sign Maker/Installer at a well established company. In this energetic role, you will craft eye-catching signs and meticulously install them across various locations, ensuring each project meets our high standards of quality and safety. Your creativity, attention to detail, and hands-on skills will help transform ideas into impactful signage that captures attention and communicates effectively. This position offers a vibrant work environment where your craftsmanship makes a real difference in how businesses and communities present themselves.

Duties

Design, fabricate, and assemble custom signs using a variety of materials, tools, and techniques to meet project specifications.
Install signs on different surfaces including walls, vehicles, windows, poles, and buildings with precision and adherence to safety guidelines.
Measure spaces accurately to ensure proper sign placement and alignment for optimal visibility.
Collaborate with clients to understand design requirements and provide expert advice on materials and installation methods.
Conduct site inspections before installation to identify potential challenges or hazards and plan accordingly.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly after each job.
Complete detailed documentation of projects, including measurements, materials used, and installation procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience in the sign making industry.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and sign fabrication equipment such as vinyl cutters, digital printers and laminators.
Strong physical stamina to lift heavy materials, dig footings, work at heights, and perform manual tasks throughout the day.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting installation challenges.
Knowledge of safety standards related to construction and signage installation is highly desirable.
Ability to read technical drawings or design layouts accurately.
Valid driver’s license for site travel.
Good knowledge of Abobe Illustrator.
Knowledge of composer or similar.
