Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roofer/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on various commercial and residential projects. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to delivering high-quality results while ensuring safety standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in roofing, construction, and fabrication while working in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and roofing materials.
Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
Operate welding equipment when necessary for metal roofing components or structural support.
Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and measuring devices to complete tasks efficiently.
Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support construction activities.
Support carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and fabrication tasks as needed on-site.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Prior construction experience with a focus on roofing or general labour work preferred.
Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, or blueprints is a plus.
Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Experience with welding or fabrication techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
Basic knowledge of masonry, plumbing, carpentry or related trades is beneficial.
Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety procedures and teamwork.
CSCS card is a must have
