Full job description

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring all patrons enjoy their experience. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This position is paid and suitable for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Duties

Serve a wide range of beverages accurately and efficiently to customers
Take orders and process payments using the till system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
Provide friendly and attentive service to enhance customer satisfaction
Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with opening or closing procedures
Handle customer queries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is advantageous but not essential
Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment
Knowledge of restaurant or bar operations is desirable but training will be provided for suitable candidates
Must be at least 18 years of age and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required
