PURE Spa & Beauty – Based in Warrington
Full-time | £38,000–£45,000 per year + performance-related bonus
Regular travel across our English locations

READY TO LEAD, GROW AND DELIVER RESULTS?

PURE Spa & Beauty is looking for a commercially driven Regional Spa Manager to take ownership of the sales performance, profitability, people and operational delivery of our English locations.

Based primarily at Warrington - our largest English location - you will be a visible, hands-on leader who knows how to turn opportunities into sales, build high-performing teams and ensure every location operates as a successful and profitable business.

This is not a behind-the-scenes management role.

You will lead from the front, drive daily performance and create a culture where every team member understands their targets, takes ownership and confidently converts customer demand into treatments, memberships, courses, packages, gift cards and retail sales.

You may currently work within a spa, hotel, health club, leisure club or wellness facility. What matters most is that you have successfully managed a full operation, delivered strong commercial results and know how to get the very best from your people.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Head of Sales & Operations, you will take full responsibility for:

Regional sales and revenue performance
Profitability and commercial growth
Diary utilisation and booking conversion
Team leadership and accountability
Payroll, freelancer and operational cost control
Customer experience and retention
Operational, facility and compliance standards

You will quickly identify opportunities, tackle underperformance and implement clear action plans that deliver measurable results.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

DRIVE SALES AND PROFITABILITY

Take full ownership of daily, weekly and monthly sales targets across the region.
Drive revenue through treatments, memberships, courses, packages, retail and gift cards.
Create focused sales plans and ensure every location is maximising its opportunities.
Improve booking conversion, rebooking, upselling and customer retention.
Review performance every day and act quickly when a location is behind target.
Ensure teams confidently recommend the right products and services to every customer.
Build a strong sales culture where targets are understood, discussed and delivered.

MAXIMISE EVERY DIARY

Ensure therapist diaries are fully optimised and commercially productive.
Monitor utilisation, availability, cancellations and gaps in real time.
Make sure rotas and opening hours reflect customer demand and sales opportunities.
Work with teams to convert enquiries, follow up leads and recover lost bookings.
Increase repeat visits and improve the long-term value of every customer.

LEAD HIGH-PERFORMING TEAMS

Lead, coach and develop Spa Managers, employed teams and freelance therapists.
Set clear expectations and hold people accountable for their results.
Run focused one-to-ones, performance reviews and sales meetings.
Recognise great performance and address underperformance promptly.
Recruit, onboard and retain talented people who reflect PURE’s values.
Create an environment where every team member feels informed, supported and motivated.
Maintain clear and consistent communication across all locations.

CONTROL COSTS AND PROTECT PROFIT

Manage payroll, rotas, freelancer utilisation and operational spending.
Ensure staffing levels are commercially viable and reflect customer demand.
Analyse sales, utilisation, payroll ratios and other key performance indicators.
Control stock, reduce waste and ensure resources are used effectively.
Make confident, data-led decisions that improve regional profitability.

DELIVER OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

Take responsibility for the safe and effective operation of every location.
Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, cleanliness and customer care.
Oversee facilities, equipment, maintenance and stock requirements.
Ensure company policies, brand standards and health and safety procedures are followed.
Resolve operational challenges quickly and take ownership through to completion.
Support new locations, service launches and wider business projects when required.

ABOUT YOU

You will be:

Commercially focused, energetic and motivated by results.
An experienced manager within spa, leisure, health clubs, hotels, wellness or another premium service environment.
Able to demonstrate success in growing sales and improving profitability.
Experienced in managing a full facility, multiple departments or multiple locations.
Confident managing managers, employed teams and freelance professionals.
Comfortable working with targets, KPIs, budgets and performance data.
A strong coach who can motivate people while maintaining clear accountability.
Highly organised and able to manage several locations and competing priorities.
Decisive, resilient and willing to be hands-on when needed.
An excellent communicator who builds trust at every level.
Able to travel regularly between locations with a full UK driving licence.

Experience within the spa or beauty industry would be advantageous but is not essential. We would also welcome applications from proven managers within leisure clubs, health clubs, hotels and other multi-facility customer environments.
