Temporary Summer Cleaner (Part-Time)

Location: Student Accommodation
Hours: 8–10 hours per week (flexible)
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary Summer Position
Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 years or older

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team on a temporary summer basis. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and enjoys working independently.

Working within a student accommodation environment, you will be responsible for keeping communal areas clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise communal areas including corridors, lifts, stairwells, gym facilities, entrance areas, and other public spaces.
Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust surfaces, and empty bins on a regular basis.
Carry out deep cleaning tasks as required.
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, steam cleaners, mops, and other cleaning machinery.
Restock cleaning supplies and consumables where required.
Follow all health and safety procedures and company standards.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns identified during cleaning duties.
Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout all areas.
Assist with periodic deep cleans and special cleaning projects.

Requirements

Previous professional cleaning experience is preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Comfortable using cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.

Flexible Working

We offer flexible working hours and will work with the successful candidate to agree a schedule that suits both parties.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
