Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a flair for creating exceptional beverages. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving drinks in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain high standards of food safety will be essential in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Provide attentive service to guests, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, offering recommendations and assistance as required.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service.

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high hygiene standards.
A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
