Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled folklift Driver to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Folklift to efficiently handle materials, support shipping and receiving operations, and maintain a safe and organised warehouse environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience and mechanical aptitude to contribute to our logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Safely operate reach trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and handling of goods.
Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on reach trucks to ensure operational safety.
Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, adhering to health and safety standards.
Support warehouse organisation by stacking, storing, and retrieving items efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve overall warehouse productivity.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during daily operations.

Requirements

Valid forklift licence.
Proven warehouse experience, ideally involving materials handling and logistics tasks.
Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and basic maintenance procedures.
Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, including load & unload operations.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate stock management.
Commitment to safety standards and continuous improvement in warehouse practices. This position offers a dynamic working environment where safety, efficiency, and teamwork are highly valued.
