Process Operator

Up to £44,000

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days and Nights
Commutable from – Portishead, Avonmouth, Bristol, Clevedon, Weston Super Mare, Pill, Gordano, Long Ashton

The Role
- Core Operations: Running day to day operations of the site and vehicle loading processes in an efficient manner to deliver the production plan on time.
- Quality & Compliance: Maintaining site standards in line with quality standards, environmental management systems (ISO 14001/50001), and site hygiene/5S standards.
- Leadership & Support: Deputizing for the Shift Supervisor when required, driving daily performance via visual boards, and supporting shift engineers during maintenance and equipment downtime.
The Candidate
- Experience working within a processing or heavy manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with automated process control systems, alongside basic computer literacy.
- Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license and Shunting capability (or willingness to train).
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and safety.
